Helios Patent Portfolio - AMI Research (Wavelength Sensor & Photonic Systems)

Helios (the AMI Research portfolio, a collection of AMI Research and Antenum assets developed under James Logan) is a multi-domain patent portfolio unified by a single technical backbone: the control and harvesting of electromagnetic energy across the spectrum, from RF to optical. The assets organize into three pillars. Power covers solar and rectenna energy conversion and radio-frequency scavenging for wireless charging. Sight covers solid-state optical beam steering for LiDAR and electro-optical sensing, with no moving parts. Signal covers travelling-wave, super-directive, and conformal antennas, adaptive RF and dispersive signal processing, and standoff detection of energetic materials. Together they describe the subsystems of a persistent, self-powered autonomous platform: power to stay aloft, sensing without moving parts, and command of the spectrum.
